Except at the discretion of the Director, no child will be permitted to begin the school year in September if the May and July tuition payments remain unpaid. Continued attendance in class is dependent upon timely receipt of all scheduled tuition payments.
Child placement decisions are made by the Director and teachers, based on the best interests of each child. Both educational and social needs are considered.
• Placement is based on recommendations from the previous teacher and the Director
• Placement takes into account the need to balance classes with respect to a number of factors, which include but are not limited to gender, age, experience in school and personality.
REFUNDS
There shall be no refund of the initial deposit except if a class is cancelled for lack of enrollment. Notice must be received prior to July 1 in order to receive a refund of the May 1st tuition payment, if the spot is filled. If a child is withdrawn after the commencement of the school year, there will be no refunds of any tuition payments and the parents shall remain liable for the balance of any payments for the remainder of the school year. Every attempt to replace the student will be made by the administration and if successful, tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis.
REMOVAL OF CHILD FROM PROGRAM
On rare occasion, a child’s best interest may not be met in our environment. We may find it necessary to suspend the enrollment of any student whose behavior, or the behavior of the parents, guardian or caregiver disrupts or otherwise threatens the educational climate or the personal, physical, psychological or emotional safety of any student, teacher or classroom. Such suspension will continue until a resolution that is satisfactory to the Director is achieved or the enrollment of such student is reinstated by the Board. (Article III, Sec. 5, By Laws) Tuition fees will be refunded on a prorated basis, should removal from RPNS be necessary.
