"In House" registration for the 2010 / 2011 school year for all current students, new siblings and new church members will be held on January 5th and 6th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, in the Westminster Room.
Registration for all other new applicants will be held on Tuesday, January 12th, at 9:20 AM and Wednesday, January 13th at 8:15 AM. At that time, the Director will present a slide show of the program, applications may be completed and submitted and classes will be open for visitation. We suggest that this be an adult experience, as it will be easier for parents to observe in the classrooms without their own children to supervise. In addition, new children in the classrooms, who are not enrolled in the program and do not know the routines, add a different dimention to the classroom. We would like parents to see the classes in as natural a setting as possible.
We will be offering morning and afternoon programs for 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds.
Two-Year-Old Program: Classes meet on 2, 3, or 4 days a week: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday, AM & PM, 8 children per class
Three-Year-Old Program: 12-13 children in each class, meets 3, 4 or 5 days:
Pre Kindergarten Program :(4's meet Mon. through Fri. 9-11:30, 12:15-2:45) Small classes of 12 to 13 children
Large classes of 16 to 19 children
- PM 4s: Julie C./Allison P.
- AM & PM: Andi B./Maria R.
AM 5s meets from 8:45-11:45
Because our staff meets regularly to plan curriculum, our morning and afternoon sessions have the same goals and activities at each of their respective age levels. In most instances the same teachers teach AM and PM classes. All children who are currently attending school are guaranteed a place for next year. Students who are currently enrolled in a particular session (AM or PM) will have the first opportunity to enroll in that session for the next year. Placement for any remaining openings in the AM or PM will be determined by several variables, including the number of years a family has had children attend RPNS (one point for each year, each child has attended), gender and educational needs. New Church members and younger siblings should register on the 3rd and 4th, before the Jan. 10th and 11th Interest Meeting for the public. Please be sure to let us know if you will not be accepting the opening offered to you.
A deposit of 1/6 of the total tuition will be due upon signing the contracts, which you will receive with notification of class selection. This deposit is non refundable and will be applied towards the tuition. Deposit checks will not be accepted without a signed contract.
The tuition payment schedule for the 2010/2011 school years will be on May 1st, July 1st, and November 1st.
Full and partial scholarships are available. To apply, please see Mary or Cheryl for an application form, complete it and return it to the office before March 1st. The Board's Financial Aid Committee reviews all requests, with the names being known only by the Director and the treasurer.
Unless a family has arranged to pay tuition in monthly installments, it is necessary for all tuition payments to be current, before registration can take place. That is, the November 1st payment must be paid and all monthly payments must be paid through December.
NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL MUST BE RECEIVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND NO LATER THAN JULY 1ST, WITH THE SPOT FILLED, IN ORDER FOR A REFUND OF THE MAY 1ST PAYMENT. Thank you for your consideration on this matter. |
