Holiday Caroling Party

The Caroling Party this year will be held on Friday, December 10th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with caroling from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. Chairpersons, Amy Jo Dowd and Kelly Jessop, along with their committee chairs have many wonderful activities planned for the evening.  Moms, dads, grandparents and alumni children are all welcome to join in the festivities!  Proceeds from this event go directly into scholarships for children attending RPNS next year.

Nina Ackerman is chairing the admissions and ticket sales this year.  Admission is $10 per child, $25 for 3 children or $30 for 4 children.  Adults and children under 2 are free. This price includes photos with Santa, a children's art project, "Music with Delores", horse drawn hay rides and caroling round the tree.  In addition, a bake sale, children's raffle, RPNS sweatshirt sale and a "Silent Auction" for the adults, round out the evenings festivities.

  • Diane Sammons and Sue Shultis are chairing the wonderful raffle of children's activities and baskets, each created and donated by our parents.  Children and parents may buy raffle tickets and place them into the containers next to the basket of their choice.  Winners will be drawn at the close of the party.  They will be notified immediately by phone.
  • Photos with Santa: Chaired by Terry Weil, Terry and her team of volunteers will be taking digital photos of each child with our very own RPNS Santa.
  • Bake Sale:  Laura Frase is chairing the bake sale and parents are signing up to bake their favorite recipe---Peanut free!  Yummy edibles may also be purchased for snacking at the party!
  • Children's Art Project:  Deidre Flood and her team of volunteers will provide a fun opportunity for the children to decorate their own ornament, in their own special way.
  • "Music with Delores":  Be sure to join our very own "Delores" for her special brand of Holiday music.  Two shows will be held in the basement of the church, during the party.  Chair person:  Sheryl Appleyard
  • Hayride:  Cuddle up with your children on an old fashioned, horse drawn hayride.  Chaired by Sunjin Harrington
  • A "Silent Auction" for adults, filled with wonderful gifts and opportunities will be available for bidding throughout the week before the party.  This event is chaired by Lisa Johnson.
  • Caroling 'round the tree in the Assembly room brings our festivities to a close from 5:30 to 6:00.  Andrea Weld chairs this activity.
  • The Sponsors of this event, underwrite the expenses of the Caroling Party.  Their support enable us to put all of the proceeds earned into scholarships for next year.  Kristin Jautz chairs this important project.
  • Clean-up: Last, but certainly not least, Tricia Agosta and Sue Shultis chair the clean-up of this magnificent holiday celebration!
